Little Spark Mission

Our Vision

To reach out to all nations through training lifelong disciple-makers who are unashamed of the gospel and live by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16-17; Matthew 28:18-20).

Our Confession of Faith

1. The Godhead

We believe in the one Triune God, eternally existing in three Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

We believe in the full humanity and deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary atonement, His physical bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven and exaltation to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory to judge the living and the dead (John 1:14-18, II Corinthians 5:20-21; Hebrews 7:25; Romans 14:9; 1 John 2:1-2).

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, who, among his various ministries, regenerates, convicts the world of sin, indwells, sanctifies, guides and empowers all believers (John 16:8-11; I Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 5:18; Galatians 5:16-23; Titus 3:5).

2. The Holy Scriptures

We believe that the Bible (66 books of the Old and New Testament) is the verbally inspired, inerrant, infallible word of God and that it is our guide as well as final authority for faith and practice (II Timothy 3:6-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Matthew 5:18; John 16:12-13).

3. The Depravity of Man

We believe that man was created in the image and like of God, but through Adam’s sin, inherited a sinful nature and was alienated from God. All men are sinners and can receive the gift of salvation and be justified by grace alone through faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ (Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:22-23; Ephesians 2:1-10; John 1:12; 1 Peter 1:18-19).

We believe in the resurrection of all people to the final judgment resulting in eternal blessings for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the unrepentant (Matthew 25:31-46; Revelation 20:11-15, 21:6-8).

We believe in the active participation of world evangelization and we adopt “The Luasanne Covenant” as part of our mission ministry guidelines.

Our Purpose

The purpose of the existence of Little Spark Mission to fulfill Christ’s “Great Commission” through disciple-making (Matthew 28:19-20).  We diligently seek to model, teach, and train individuals to give all their efforts and resources for this cause, and thus participate in expanding the kingdom of God. We strive to develop this community of disciple-makers in the local church, in the schools, in the workplace, and the neighborhood, to help others multiply the ministry. In these we seek to glorify God and manifest His glory on all the earth.
